Repost from Renato Pizzaro: This snowy wintery weather is making me crave for some Pinoy food, like pork adobo and rice. By the way, if you are flying Alaska Airlines and you happen to take-off or land in SFO’s Terminal 1, Concourse B, back in Gate B18 is Mama Go’s Filipino Cuisine, a little turo-turo resto with a pretty good selection of Filipino dishes. Hungry, I ordered the semi-sweet beef kaldereta, rice, and pork lumpia shanghai. It also came with a clear broth soup. Hit the spot. It was nice to see this Pinoy resto in a major US airport. Check it out.

If Lumpiang Shanghai is the Filipino version of a protein bar… we couldn’t agree more. 🤤🇵🇭💪

The average Lumpiang Shanghai packs around 4–6 grams of protein per piece—so technically… it’s a protein snack. 😏 (Not that we needed another excuse.)

But let’s be honest… you’re not stopping at just one. 😂
