California Bean California Bean is a small town style coffee shop putting expertise, care and love into every cup. Open 7 days a week with walk up service.

We strive to bring back the traditional local coffee shop, with friendly service and one simple goal: Brew quality beans into simply good coffee with a smile at an affordable price. We are conveniently located off the I-5 freeway in historic old town on San Diego Ave right next to Home & Away. Barista & owner, Morgan, originally from Spokane, WA, the drive thru coffee shop capital of the US, has

lived in San Diego for the past 11 years. She fell in love with coffee back in 1998 when she got her first job as a barista, connecting with customers on their morning commute and forming bonds over the waking effects of a quality cup of coffee. Morgan brings valuable North Western drive-thru coffee experience and expertise down to San Diego. Her favorite cup is a Double shot Americano with hazelnut and a little cream. One day she hopes to own and run her very own coffee shop.
