We are immigrants, in an immigrant community, as part of an immigrant-built and -run nation. And we are proud to say so. Just as this country has given us a home, we all in turn contribute to the very fabric that makes it a special place worth being. We came from war-torn places to build our lives anew here. And now we find ourselves unsafe. Again. Our immigrant communities are scared. We are tired.

We oppose the oppressive and violent deployment of ICE at the behest of an administration that mercilessly aims to undo the progress that we’ve together made as a society. We condemn these acts of cruelty, violence, and division that keep spreading. Immigrants are not the enemy. Oppression and tyranny are.

We support the protests against the brutality that is being used against our fellow citizens. We stand against the violation of our fundamental rights as immigrants — and as humans. Fight the good fight in any way that you are able, stay vigilant, stay together, stay in the light. ICE OUT.

As a small business, we have made the challenging decision to remain open today to support our staff of immigrants who need to work. And to continue to provide a comfortable space for our community.

Sending this guy off to the other side of the world with lots of love and gratitude. This is our Tuân. Here since Year One, we’ve had SEVEN years with him in our Shank family as an OG. (We’ve had some amazing OGs, right?)
He’s truly become a brother to us, and we are going to miss him sooo much.
