Day 1 of the 10 days community meals series! Chicken Tikka Masala, Rice, our signature BCC salad, fermented lentil pops, caramelized lemonade and coconut pudding!!! I was the hero today , by myself. From the classroom to the community ❤️
Over the past few months, we had the privilege of leading nutrition education and hands-on cooking classes at Rolando School. Together, students learned about healthy eating, explored new foods, built cooking skills, and discovered how science comes alive in the kitchen.
The handwritten cards, drawings, and thank-you notes from the students reminded us why this work matters. Their creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm made every class special.
We're also honored to receive this Certificate of Recognition from La Mesa-Spring Valley Schools, recognizing our commitment to student growth and community engagement.
This is just the beginning. We're excited to bring these nutrition and cooking experiences to the broader community as we launch a new series of public classes at the SciCook location soon.
Thank you to the students, teachers, administrators, and families who made this partnership possible. 💙💚

Our mission is simple: make high-quality food accessible to all. These are meals you'd happily pay for elsewhere, offered free to the community so everyone can enjoy great food, discover new cultures, and connect through shared experiences.
