Today, my little brother Touraine Marea Moss earned his wings and transitioned to the Kingdom of Heaven. Though my heart is broken, I know this is not the end but the beginning of his journey to eternal life.
Touraine was born in St. Louis, Missouri, 1971 and passed this morning in San Diego, California 2026. He proudly served his country, United States Navy, at HSL-49 as an aircraft mechanic SH 60B helicopters dedicating his skills and discipline to the safety and success of others.
Beyond his military service, Touraine continued to serve the people in a different way, bringing joy to thousands of Americans across the nation through his craftsmanship as a manufacturer of Moss Grills.
My brother was a man of family, friendship, and deep compassion. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. One of the most powerful examples of his character was when he saved a young man’s life after a tragic train accident in St. Louis. Using lifesaving skills he learned as a lifeguard, Touraine applied a tourniquet and stayed with the young man until medical aid arrived. For his bravery, courage, and selflessness, he was awarded a citizenship award from the Mayor of St. Louis, Missouri.
Touraine’s dedication and service to his country, his community, and his family will never be forgotten. Little brother, you lived a life of purpose and impact.
I am crushed and hurting deeply, and I will miss you more than words can express. Yet, like all our loved ones who have gone before us, I take comfort in knowing this is not goodbye forever. I look forward to the day we reunite in the Kingdom of Heaven
Rest in peace, baby brother.
You are loved. You are honored. You are remembered. Love you forever ever through eternity.
