Our Fall menu is in full swing🍂🦊🍁

Drinks:

- “The Works” - our pumpkin, maple, apple syrup with a dash of cinnamon. I prefer mine short over ice.

- A small serving of our Nicaragua Gesha (ask your barista what’s on pour over rotation)

Pastries:

- Basil Pesto Brioche (recipe rotates weekly)

- A Citrus cinnamon roll inspired by our Foxtrot syrup (only available Thurs / Fri)

We hoped you joined us for our Better Than pop-up collaboration. We had a lot of fun!

A lil backstory behind our collab: our very own Jonas Groves recently stepped on to help creatively direct & world build with Better Than beverage company. We’ve been so proud to see him flourish with another great project. On his recent trip back to CA he collaborated on bringing a pop-up to life with us. A few Saturdays back we were able to see this flourish as we paired these sodas with our very own menu alongside some fun interactive community engagements.

We love hosting and pursuing collabs - thanks again for joining us. Stay tuned as our anniversary is just around the corner. 🦊

Here’s Vixen’s way of navigating our Fall menu:

Option #1: ‘The Works’ our Fall inspired specialty syrup. A fun mix of a few familiar flavors of Fall all in one puréed mix. Try it hot or iced for yourself in any variation with milk.

Option #2: Our specialty single origins. Justin has been roasting some super unique coffees you’ll have a hard time finding anywhere else. So if it’s hot try an ‘Iced Short’ with our specialty Honey Costa Rica or a rotating ‘Flash Brew’ (ask your barista what’s being brewed).

If it’s cold do the same but hot;)

Our Summer Seasonals are now rotating. Here come the flavors of Fall.

1st we have the Spiced Apple Soda - a special homemade spice syrup alongside some apple juice, bubbles, and your choice of matcha or cold brew. DELICIOUS

2nd we have “The Works” an alternative take on the Pumpkin spice. We know how popular the PSL latte is. However! Everyone is doing one so we wanted to spruce it up.

These drinks are here only for the Fall season. Come by anytime from 7am-4pm to taste our flavors of Fall!

Every Thursday & Friday we have specialty Brioches and scones. The flavors differ each week but we can always guarantee there are both sweet and savory options available. Featured in this image is an “Elote” styled brioche with corn, red pepper, and cheese. Absolutely delicious… We highly recommend getting them early when they’re fresh or heating them up. Don’t miss out. You won’t regret it.

Better Than Pop is popping up at Genteel to make your weekend a little better 🌞

We’re teaming up with Better Than this Saturday for one full day of giving back and drinking better.

🟡 10am — Neighborhood trash pick-up, meet us at Genteel. First 20 people get a Better Than Pop x Genteel gift bag.

🟠 All day — Our collab drink menu drops. Three limited-run specialty drinks made with Genteel and Better Than Pop, and $1 from every sale goes to San Diego Rescue Mission.

🔴 All day — The Better Together Wall. Write a note on who makes your life better and why, stick it up, and post it to your story tagging that person plus Genteel Coffee and Better Than to enter a giveaway.

Alondra showing off her skills with our new shop espresso!

This next month we are excited to share a washed coffee from Yosniyom Coffee Farm. This coffee falls under our cozy category; to us it tastes like chocolate, honey and pineapple. While Yos is known for his experimental coffees we find his tradition process is equally as good. Justin plans on visiting Yos in Thailand early next year to take part in a three day hands on course about coffee processing. He might even be bringing the family :)

Our specialty espresso option has transitioned. We are now using a honey natural from our friends in Costa Rica Hacienda Sonora. We’ve partnered with producer Diego Guardia for the past few years offering this coffee on espresso and things adjacent.

Currently this is used as our “Specialty Espresso” embodying a sweet and light profile. We recommend trying it just as an espresso or with a dash of milk.

Oh and yea if you’re stopping by we are currently carrying scones and brioches from our local baker. We have a handful of sweet and savory options that pair fantastic with our short.
