As the holidays quickly approach us, we are celebrating this Christmas season with a few special, and limited, coffee drops - wrapped in our limited red bags ✨

We start this year with a fan favourite and a third time to the menu, Candy Cane Bark. 🎄This year is tasting the best yet (in our humble option), and our friends always bringing nothing but the best. This thermal shock PB is memorable. 💚

While we have another holiday coffee coming in the weeks ahead 👀 we’ve also dropped two stellar Ethiopian lots this weekend. 👇

Dege Mullugeta, son of COE winner Mullugeta Muntasha. This anaerobic natural is bright and juicy, reminding us of Welch’s grape juice and juicy limes. 🍇🍋‍🟩

Elto’s washed 74158 is one of the brighter washed offerings from Ethiopia we’ve featured this year. We taste bright lemon lime, tangerine and white florals 🍊🍋🍋‍🟩

Fresh Drops ✨

El Rubí - A stellar Anaerobic Washed Sidamo from Colombia produced by our friend Wilder Lazo. In the cup: Blueberries 🫐 Lavender 🌸 White honey 🍯

Basha Bekele - The goat is back 🏆 this white honey 74258 is a perfect reminder why we love Basha. In the cup: Juicy citrus 🍊 Blueberries 🫐 and Florals 🌺

Lollipop - This is a decaf that shouldn’t be slept on and our favourite we’ve roasted yet. 🍭 Trust.
In the cup: Red candy, Swedish berries🍓, Raspberry, and Juicy citrus 🍊

Finca Tamana - A classic yet memorable washed pink bourbon from Elias Roa. In the cup: Lemonade🍋, Grapefruit🍊, Almond.

Little Pearls - Antioquia Colombia doesn’t miss, and this combination lot comprised of small holders chiroso is stellar, juicy and clean. In the cup: Raspberry, Blackberries, Lime 🍋‍🟩 and green Jolly Rancher.

To our US Friends: A lot has changed this weekend on USA and worldwide trade and how it is conducted for packages under $800. De minimis ending means all packages crossing the border are now subject to duties. This is clearly a big change in policy and one we’re impacted by. But we’re making big changes to adapt and ensure the impact is minimal for both our subscribers and general web-store orders to the USA.

We are offering direct duties paid (DDP) for all web-store orders, so that there are no surprises during shipping. We’re also covering all brokerage fees at no additional cost in your shipping cost or free shipping offers. This is a $7-$10 cost for us per package, but will cost you nothing extra. What will (unfortunately) be extra are the duties applied at checkout. These are based on the current tariffs from the USA to Canada. You pay them at checkout, and we take care of the rest. All is transparent at checkout.

We’re also working on a long term solution to navigate and reduce these additional costs further. More on that to come.

USA Subscribers:
An email was just sent updating you on our new approach and system for cross border subscriptions. We’ve also paused new USA subscription on boarding for this week.
For subs: your subscription price isn’t changing, and we’re covering the brokerage and tariffs. This is a significant cost for us, with the current tariffs on goods from Canada, and brokerage at $7-$10 per package,but one we think is worth it to ensure you keep getting your coffee with ease. We’re implementing a simple shipping flat fee of $5 USD for shipping for subscribers and again, the rest is covered. Our goal is to make this seamless and easy. While a lot changes on our end, little will change for you (well at least, for your coffee).

We know this can be frustrating for some. We hope you understand these changes come direct from US government regulations. We trust this will help keep your subscription predictable and consistent for the time being, and that you’d continue to trust us to send you tasty treats. We will also do our best navigate this.

Fresh Drops just hit the menu ✨✨

We’re very excited to share this special coffee from .hachi. Diego Bermudez of Hachi told us this is the best Pink Bourbon he’s produced, and we knew that’s all that was needed to be said, and purchased the full lot.

What makes this coffee special starts at its unique approach and processing. This coffee is a biochemical interface between Pink Bourbon and Geisha varieties. Diego sacrifices a full batch of Geisha to create a highly concentrated aromatic bio medium (which you can learn more about on the web-store), and after a standard washing process, Pink Bourbon parchment-encased seeds are immersed in the Geisha solution. The result is a sweet, floral and intensely memorable Pink Bourbon. It’s limited to a couple hundred bags, so don’t hold out on this one (it’s almost sold out 🫣)

We’re also proud to bring back Francy Castillo’s amazing coffee. This year we are sharing her Natural Pink Bourbon and it’s let’s just say, this one screams Blue Gummy Bears 💙🔵🔹🌀

And lastly, a rarity for us, but we’re dropping a Geisha from Gelver Cuenca that is a shower series coffee. Not because it’s not stellar (because it really is), but because it’s crushable and well valued, and we think this is a perfect fit for its profile✨ in the cup we’re getting sweet lemon candies, florals that remind us of black tea, and juicy citrus like oranges.
