When we dreamed up An Evening in Italy, we hoped a few people would enjoy it.

We never imagined our first three evenings would fill so quickly.

Because so many of you have continued to ask, we’re excited to announce our next evening on Friday, August 7.

This isn’t just about making pasta.

It’s about slowing down, working with your hands, sharing a table, and enjoying an evening of authentic Italian food and genuine hospitality.

We’ll spend the evening crafting fresh pasta from scratch, sharing a beautiful meal together, and ending with The Grand Finale — Pony Up’s Signature Tiramisu.

If you’ve been looking for a unique date night, an evening with friends, or simply an opportunity to experience something different, we’d love to welcome you into our kitchen.

Attention my sweet toof degenerates!!! Something sweet is coming to Pony Up…

We’ve spent weeks tweaking, tasting, and obsessing over every layer until we finally landed on something we’re truly proud of. And we managed to somehow keep our summer bods in the process!!

Espresso soaked ladyfingers. Rich mascarpone. Real cocoa. No shortcuts. No artificial fluff. Just authentic, handcrafted tiramisu.

We aren’t serving it just yet… but trust us, it’s worth the wait.

Some people might call it bold… but we think it’s the best tiramisu you’ll find without buying a plane ticket to Italy.

Stay tuned. We’ll let you know the moment it’s ready. Might just launch it at our first pasta class!!

🥵🔥 It’s gonna be a scorcher this Friday… good thing for you, the beer’s cold. 🍺🍕

We will be rolling into Shortway Brewing Co. around 5:00-ish, firing up the oven no matter what the thermometer says.

🥓 Bacon & Brussels

Roasted Brussels sprouts, crispy bacon, red onion, mozzarella, Parmigiano, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. If you’ve never had Brussels sprouts on a wood-fired pizza… this is your sign.

So skip cooking in a hot kitchen, grab an ice-cold pint, and let us sweat over the fire and hopefully not be a heat casualty in the process!

This Thursday, we’re headed back to Bogue Sound Distillery… but this time we’re in full ’Merica Mode! 🦅🍕

🔥 Chef’s Special: Chicken à la BBQ 🔥

It all starts with a sweet-and-spicy BBQ sauce on top of the best Buckin’ crust around. Then we pile on tangy BBQ chicken, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.

Vacation is over (again), and the culinary chaos resumes.

Come see what that Hot Chick from Buffalo has planned for your taste buds this Thursday at Bogue Sound Distillery. We’ll be firing pizzas starting around 5:30ish and serving until we run out, pass out, or common sense finally catches up with us.

Construction Update: Still in a holding pattern….. BUT!!

As we patiently… okay, impatiently… wait for construction to resume at Platform 123, we decided to quit staring at blueprints and just say, “F it.”

So we made pasta with these two crazy young ladies!!

And let’s just say…

Yup. You’re in for a treat.

There may be a few opportunities for small, intimate classes for those with an appetite for fresh pasta, good conversation, and a little culinary therapy.

Ok… we saved the best for last.

And yes, this officially counts as IRS-approved R&D for Platform 123. Probably. Maybe. Don’t quote us.

If you ever need an Italy itinerary, let us know…. we’ve got you.

But if you’re going for food classes, these are the ones you absolutely do not want to miss.

We’ve cooked with Sasha in Rome a couple times now, and it’s a must. Great experience, great food, zero regrets.

And cooking with Roberta in Bologna? That was the one that hit different.

It reminded us of being kids in the kitchen with our Nonna… learning, laughing, eating, and realizing the best recipes come with stories, life lessons, and a little flour on everything.

Roberta shared her recipes, her experiences, and her heart with us. It was easily one of the most amazing culinary parts of our trip. If you’re ever in Bologna, you MUST book a meal with her.

Thank you for traveling with us on our little adventure.

Now we’ll save you the plane ticket and bring a little taste of Italy right here to Eastern North Carolina.

Buckin’ delicious things are coming.
