“Self, Reclaimed” a collective exploration of self-portraiture as a space for reflection, resistance, and return. Centered on women being seen on their own terms, this exhibition holds multiple voices, experiences, and perspectives; pushing back against being reduced to a single narrative. More than a collection of photographs, it is a conversation about visibility, authorship, and the act of choosing how to be seen.

Join us TONIGHT @ 6pm at Por Vida Café for an artist platica with Tekpatl Patricia Cruz, celebrating her solo exhibition La Tierra Me Está Llamando (“The Earth Is Calling Me”).
Through painting and visual storytelling, Tekpatl explores ancestry, land, and cultural memory-creating work that moves between past and present, memory and return. This conversation will offer insight into her practice, her relationship to lineage and place, and the stories carried through her work.
Presented in collaboration with Por Vida Café, this gathering centers reflection, dialogue, and community in the heart of Barrio Logan.
