Inspired by his European Farm-to-Table up-bringing and culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, Executive Chef and Owner Fred Piehl, marries French and European cuisine with the bounty of San Diego in a way that is rustic, yet refined, imaginative, yet unpretentious. The dinners served star in-season local, sustainable and organic ingredients and provide guests with a unique culinary experience, reminiscent of the European countryside. Nestled in the heart of North Park on 30th Street, we’re proud to be family owned, classic French - California bistro. We’re also honored to have held the California CRA Gold Medallion Award for five consecutive years as Best French Restaurant, a milestone that means even more because of the community that helped make it possible.

To those that have spent the years with us, countless dinners, celebrations, first dates, regulars, and late-night conversations later… you’re still coming through our doors, and we just wanted to share a little note of gratitude to our San Diego community.
