Boston Kreme Pie Donut

There was one vocal hater of this donut, but most of us thought this was the best of the filled-donut category. It definitely gives you the chocolate-custardy flavor of the classic Beantown dessert.

Want an easy and tasty breakfast that whips up quick? These Chocolate Donuts are ready in under 20 minutes, glazed to perfection and are absolutely delicious.

Donuts are my jam. I’m in love with any and all types of donuts. I have been making them for years and have always preferred baked donuts over fried.

They are simpler to make, use readily available ingredients and you don’t have to wait for anything to rise, or any hot oil to deep fry.

The faster and easier a recipe is the more I’m drawn to it and these Glazed Chocolate Donuts are exactly that. Easy and tasty.

Chocolate Chai Cheesecake Bars

These chocolate chai cheesecake bars (or, as they’re known colloquially, Ch³ Bars) are adapted from my triple chocolate cheesecake recipe, scaled down and infused with sultry chai spices and transformed into easy-to-eat bars.

Originating from India, chai literally means tea (derived from ‘cha’, the Chinese word for tea, so when you go around saying ‘chai tea’ you’re actually saying ‘tea tea’ FYI). Chai has become a word that is used on its own to describe what is more technically known as masala chai, a fragrant blend of spices infused into a tea-like beverage (often with black tea, but that’s not always the case).

Sweet German Chocolate

People often mistake semi-sweet chocolate for sweet chocolate but it should be noted that sweet chocolate is more sugary than any other kind of chocolate. If you are planning to use sweet chocolate as a substitute for semi-sweet chocolate, you will need to add ½ tablespoon of sugar in every ounce of chocolate.

Also known as sweet baking chocolate, sweet chocolate was first created by Samuel German to save bakers a step of mixing chocolate with sugar. Contrary to what many people may think, sweet chocolate along with the famous cake that goes by the same name originated from the United States rather than Germany.

HAVANA TO***CO CHOCOLATE

It is more of a truffle and is made with cigar leaves marinated in rum and cognac. As soon as you take one down your throat it gives a peppery feeling leaving the stimulating sensation of smoking a cigar. While it is readily available in countries like Germany, Bruges etc. it is illegal to get these chocolates in some countries including the U.S. So for all of you, all who want to know the feeling of smoking a cigar without actually smoking one, get this ASAP!

Sweet German chocolate is a dark baking chocolate created by a man named Samuel German, who gave it it’s name. He created this chocolate to be convenient for bakers and added sugar directly to it. Therefore, it’s sweeter than semisweet chocolate. This type of chocolate is most commonly used in German Chocolate Cake, a rich cake with three layers of chocolate cake with sweet, gooey frosting in the middle and topped with coconut and pecans.

White chocolate does not contain chocolate liquor or any other cocoa products besides cocoa butter. It doesn’t have a very chocolatey taste, but resembles smooth vanilla. White chocolate contains a minimum 20 percent cocoa butter, a maximum of 55 percent sugar, and about 15 percent milk solids.

Milk chocolate is perhaps the most popular type of chocolate. It actually contains only ten to 40 percent cacao mixed with sugar and milk (either condensed milk or milk solids). Milk chocolate is much, much sweeter than dark or bitttersweet chocolate and has a lighter color and less-pronounced chocolate taste.
