Coming out of social media hibernation- it's time for all hands on deck.

What's happening on college campuses right now is terrifying. Not because of the student protestors, but because we so clearly see again and again displays of violence from this totalitarian regime.
Our rights are under attack from all sides...
That does not mean it is a time for despair,
On the contrary it's a time to lean in to your community.
Show up for our students
Show up for Palestine.
Show up for ourselves.
By any means necessary.

Begging to divest from genocide, from murdering children, from ethnic cleansing, from colonization shouldn't be controversial.

If you are on the fence, please look at whom has historically been on the right side of history.

I promise you, it hasn't been the 🚨👀👀

It's okay if you've gotten to the point where the overwhelming weight of living under an oligarchy, during a genocide, during a pandemic, during a recession(depression) has made resolutions sound silly.

It's not your fault that you are unable to girl boss yourself to happiness and a high functioning lifestyle, when you have the empathy to hold space for the suffering of others.

The pressure to 'succeed' in a broken system leads to burnout.
The idea of resolutions IS TO KEEP US OPPRESSED. It's the simple equation of "welp, if you're not doing well, it's your own damn fault." It is a ploy to keep us hustling, busy, and most importantly, separated.
True change doesn't begin with personal promises but collective action.
Our happiness thrives within community, not isolated pursuits.

If your eyes are opened to the harsh realities of this country, then hyper fixation on individual solutions will not bring you the peace you seek this year.

But there is a bright side! This is our moment to dive deep into collective community care, organize change within our neighborhoods, make our politicians and billionaires uncomfortable, and participate in revolution.
Literally, just start with your friends.
The best thing we can be as we enter the New Year is AWAKE.
Sending you all love.
You are enough.

It's like... the same thing everytime.
And EVERYTIME people are shocked, and upset, and heartbroken.

But the call is coming from inside the house.
Violence against women is one of the key foundations of the society we have built.
I'm so tired of being sad, and I don't know how we start dismantling the patriarchy in other contries, while we are so comfortable soaking in it here in the US...

We are not children.
We are not dumb nor inferior.
We do not need to be told how to dress, eat, serve, clean, and tiptoe around the fragile egos of violent men.

We need to teach our boys.
We need to hold men accountable.
We need to demand that we been seen as whole, autonomous human beings.

Idk. If you're a man reading this and you don't have clear answers for the last slide of questions... dig deep.
Do more.
Do better.

To all my women, trans, and non-binary friends... stay safe 💜
Hold eachother close because I know it can feel so scary out here.
