Our familia has partnered with Homes of Hope since 2019 to build homes for families in Mexico who need them most. This October, we are heading back for another build, and we’re raising $15,000 to make it happen.

Every dollar goes directly to the family we’re building for. Every donation, no matter the size, is a hand on the hammer. Come build with us.

Straight from Victor: his three San Clemente favorites.

He starts with Mama Avila’s Chicken Soup, his mother’s original recipe, made with fresh ingredients and, as Victor puts it, all the kindness and love she poured into every batch. You can taste it. 💛 Then the Combination Plate, a chicken enchilada, a hardshell taco, rice and beans. One of the most-ordered dishes on the menu for a reason. And finally, the Shrimp Botanas, made with gulf shrimp from Mexico that you can taste the difference in. It arrives at the table like a centerpiece, and Victor says that’s the best part because it brings the whole familia together.

Meet San Clemente. 💛

For Victor, being an Avila is four generations of family standing behind him. He remembers his grandfather washing dishes at 17 years old. He watched his three children grow up in these restaurants, and now they run their own. And these days, he gets to see his grandkids working alongside them.

That’s four generations of the same family, in the same kitchens, pouring the same love into every plate. Victor calls it a blessing. We call it the legacy we’re building for generations after generations.

This is what it means to be an Avila. And this is San Clemente.

Some recipes never go out of season. 🤍

Mama Avila’s Chicken Soup has been on our tables for as long as our familia has been feeding yours, the same recipe our grandmother made, passed down and poured into every bowl we serve. Hot day, cool evening, birthday, Tuesday - our guests come back for it no matter the weather.
