one of our friends co worker was affected by the tragedy that happened this past weekend 💔

they will be selling chicken plates to help raise funds for funeral expenses this upcoming Sunday ❤️

Over the weekend, our community learned about the heartbreaking loss of four members of a local family in San Benito, TX. This tragedy has directly affected one of our own Happy Hearts teachers. 😞💔

She is grieving the loss of her family while also assuming responsibility for the three surviving minors who are now in her care. Out of respect for her privacy during this unimaginable time, we will not be sharing her name.

The Happy Hearts family is organizing a Chicken Plate Benefit to help with funeral expenses, the children’s immediate needs, and the many unexpected financial responsibilities that now lay ahead.

🍗 CHICKEN PLATE BENEFIT

📅 Sunday, September 20th
⏰ 12:00–3:00 PM
📍 Pickup at Happy Hearts Daycare
🎟️ $12 per plate — higher donations are gratefully welcomed
🍽️ Includes: Chicken leg quarter, mashed potatoes, rice, bread, utensils, and a Coke

🚗 Delivery is available for orders of five or more plates within Brownsville.
