Good morning everyone! So as you know we decided to stay open a few extra days at the Heart of Texas Grill and Private Club . Mark wants to do a celebration of our closing so we will have a limited menu. We will be doing Burger baskets, Chicken sandwich baskets, Chicken Tender baskets, Fish baskets, and Fish and Shrimp baskets. All will come with a side , drink, and a brownie cupcake. All baskets will be 14.99 plus tax. And for our last days we will be doing CASH ONLY. We hope to see many of you there for what will be our last days to serve you. We will open at 11 am and close at 2 pm.

Sooo y’all plot twist! The Heart of Texas Grill will still open next week for a few days. When you truly love something it’s hard to let go. So Mark has decided to do a closing celebration for the restaurant. We will have a limited menu. We dedicate those days to celebrating Mark and the many years he’s been dedicated to this business. I get his passion for the restaurant business. I’m heartbroken that we will no longer be able to serve our community. My crew and I tried so hard to do that but in the end we have ultimately failed.

Join us for lunch at Heart of Texas Grill and Private Club from 11am-2pm. Today's special features all-you-can-eat fish, accompanied by French fries, coleslaw, and a cup of gumbo, all for $16.99. Alternatively, purchase a fried shrimp basket and receive two sides of your choice, with a second basket offered at half price. We look forward to welcoming everyone.

We kindly request the pleasure of your company at lunch today and tomorrow from 11am-2pm at the Heart of Texas Grill and Private Club. Following tomorrow, we will be closing our doors permanently. Although we have enjoyed a successful two-year run, circumstances dictate that we cease operations. To mark this occasion, we offer a special meal consisting of a HB steak or chicken fried steak, two accompanying sides, and a single trip to the salad bar, all available for $14.99. We are eager to welcome you during our final two days of service.

So I’m just going to share with y’all a few facts. Business for us lately has been horrible. So bad in fact we may have to shut the doors pretty soon. We have tried almost everything we can think of and still we don’t get much support. I know things have been rough for us. Like us having to close because the cooks I have hired in the past decided to not show up without telling me. You know things like that. Now I have two amazing cooks that show up and show out. Our food is amazing . We take care of every customer very very well. I had to shut breakfast down for now cause no one showed up for us like they said they would. We are trying to give this community what they want but than y’all don’t show up for us and support us like we need. So what do we need to do? If you’ve never been in this business before than you don’t know what it takes to stay open to make the choices that we’ve had to make. I want to restart breakfast soon. I’m guessing this construction has something to do with people not coming in. But we are there Monday thru Friday for now 11 am to 2 pm . I tried the 11 am to 5 pm and barely anyone showed up so we lost a lot of money. For those of you that want to complain about our hours. That’s why I keep changing them. So I’m going to offer this. Hopefully within 2 weeks opening back up for breakfast . Offering daily specials that are a steal for the customers. Offering renting out the restaurant on a Saturday for parties get togethers letting us cook for you and take care of you while you enjoy your friends and family in a vintage cute cozy environment. Our food is amazing. the Hot grill is not what was in the past. I know alot of you have had bad experiences in the past. But the staff and management is not the same. All I ask is you give us a chance to show you that we are worth it. There is no place close or here that is like us. I promise you that. I know times are hard but if we don’t get the support we need we will shut the doors. We won’t have a choice .
