Today, we’re proud to have celebrated Dieciséis de Septiembre at the Texas Capitol ❤️

We were honored to have David and José join leaders from across Texas to speak on this year’s theme: resilience.

The day felt especially meaningful as it marks 13 years since La Panadería first began at a farmers market in San Antonio. For us, resilience has meant embracing the unknown, continuing forward through challenges, and creating opportunities for the people alongside us.

We’re incredibly grateful to NHPO Houston for inviting David and José to share their story and for bringing our community together for such a special celebration.

Did you know La Panadería’s first San Antonio roots go back to selling Pan Dulce at a local Farmers Market? ❤️

Before our first location opened in 2014, it all began selling Pan Dulce on the weekends. That was our first connection to the community, and we’re so grateful to have been able to grow that connection over the last decade.

Time has passed, our locations have grown, but one thing will ALWAYS stay the same- our mission to elevate Pan Dulce, honor the traditions behind it, and share our culture with those that have embraced us since the beginning.

After Friday night’s storm, we’re especially grateful for those working around the clock to help our city get back to normal. As a small thank you, CPS Energy workers receive 50% off at La Panadería today (8/30) and tomorrow (8/31).
