Something’s happening at Poetic… 👀

If you’ve been in lately, you might start noticing a few changes around the shop. We’re giving our space a little refresh, and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming.

For now, here’s a little behind-the-scenes moment with my dad giving the espresso bar some love.

We had the pleasure of celebrating the first launch party for Yanaguana Literary Magazine Issue 2 at Poetic!

Yanaguana is San Antonio’s new literature and arts journal: a free online publication from Voices de la Luna celebrating the voices, stories, and creativity of our community.

A huge thank you to all the poets and artists who shared their work with us!

We’re grateful to be part of spaces that celebrate literature, creativity, and storytelling in San Antonio. As summer settles into Southtown, we’re taking a little pause to embrace a slower seasonal rhythm at Poetic Republic. For the month of July, we’ll be adjusting our hours and closing on Sundays and Mondays to give our team some time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the summer season.

We’re grateful for your understanding and continued support as we make space for both our community and our team. We’ll be sharing our upcoming hours soon, so stay tuned for updates!
