I don’t want this post to be “heavy hearted”, so we thought the glowing colors were justifiable for our departure.
The location at 427 Lombrano, inside the “Lombrano food hall” closed its doors 3/31/2022
We learned so much, both and good and bad. We realize that this is the best decision for our brand to re-strategize and focus on the food and people, not the “virtual” part of it.
We never sold anyone else’s food except ours and I rather close the doors that way, with dignity. To those making it happen, GET IT!
We apologize for anyone that we might have given an unfavorable experience. Our intentions have always been the best.
For those that gave us great reviews and came back several times to support our food. Thank you!
As an old school cook (pre-pandemic), I miss the old ways for sure. The interaction between customer and food. The industry was bruised and needed healing.
Appreciate the table to food and staff experience. Sometimes things might take a bit longer, with adjustments; but if you find the “gems” and “hole in the walls” that still give you love on a plate, E-N-J-O-Y IT! Savor it, thank the lord for all those involved that make it happen.
Food is still soulful. It’s heals us and nutrífies (if that’s a word) us. We still need to eat, so if you do order takeout, curbside, Carryout, drive-thru, etc…be thankful.
There are still big responsibilities, when we commit to making food even at that level from both the kitchen and the location, that is the extension of that kitchen.
We prefer to spend our resources and efforts towards a brick and mortar location in the near future. We still have plans to re-launch the El Paso market, but for now we are laying the foundation in the San Antonio/Austin Metro.
We will keep you posted and future developments, and if there are suggestions for anything Taco Related, drop a buzz.
Con mucho amor, y un gran abrazo!
With lots of love and a huge hug!
Thanks again,
The Tacoholics Team
