The PourBox last day is Saturday Aug 8 at The Dakota……
Well it’s taken me a while to put into words the deep gratitude I feel for having the blessing to have my little coffee spot inside of The Dakota East Side Ice House. The Dakota East Side Ice House…we built my coffee business on love of community and self love. The notion of pouring into one’s self and the commonality of the human experience that spans continents and cultures. But I’d like to highlight the human experience. The connections we have with one another that is as close to heaven as we can experience where ever you are in this world. To say I’m grateful doesn’t capture the depth of my heart for having the blessing of opening the doors in the morning and pouring a cup of coffee for you and giving you space. A Space to sit with friends, family or alone.

I want to thank all the people that came in and told me your stories poured your heart out, celebrated, shared a laugh with me and shared your joys and dreams and sometimes a prayer and a hug. And for those who brought your dogs for a treat and some “good dog” moments. I want to thank all of you who trusted me with your story, I hope it helped to talk about it . I listened with my whole heart. And I am eternally thankful for those of those you who poured into me. And tried something new or different. Never stop growing.

This dream would not have been possible without my little brother Kent. A human whose heart ♥️ and soul truly elevates the human condition. IF YOU KNOW HIM, YOU KNOW.
You honor me with your kindness, your trust and you give the absolute best hugs ….that heal. You are one incredible human.

To the team at the Dakota, I thank you too. Jules, Juanita. My deep respect and love for the friendship and the beautiful humans you are….🫶🏽.
and for all you creators who told our story in so many beautiful ways.

Finally, I want to acknowledge my team ,Dr Bianca, Bianca Crawford Ro ‘ our Smoke QueenThe Smoke Queen BBQ , Coach Dom,Dom Crawford my partner for life, Mr Bruce and my family. I will forever show up for you all , as you all have for me.
