Lalas final days are upon us. We will be open till Monday, December 23rd
We’ll be open that day from 11-8, and normal 🚌 hours the remainder of the week

We’re normally closed on Mondays but my staff asked to close on the 24th and open on Monday…..so that’s what we’re going to do.

Lala’s Gorditas will serve its last puffy tacos, guacamole cups and gorditas on the South Side on Dec. 24.

With mixed emotions, I am announcing that December 23rd will be Lala’s last day of business.
We hope everyone will come by and share a laugh or tear, and send Lala’s off in grand style.
On behalf of my staff and myself it’s been an honor and a pleasure to serve you these last five years. You’ll see my staff in other great dining places, no doubt, and I plan to enjoy my retirement.
On a personal note, I will miss the wonderful community Lala’s has created with our authentic food and friendly service. It’s been an extraordinary experience getting to know so many of you, and sharing my family’s legacy through our traditional Tex-Mex recipes.
I also want to encourage everyone to continue to support your local and independently owned restaurant community. It is a tough time for this industry of hardworking small business owners.
