07/25/2025
First picture was taken 08/14/21, the night before our grand opening. I had just turned 25 and I had zero intention in opening a food truck. I had no idea what the hell I was getting myself into. Roughly four years and stolen light later, this is by far one of the toughest, most rewarding things I’ve experienced.
After a lot of thought and some heavy heart, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s time for me to close this chapter. I’m proud of everything we’ve accomplished and what the name “Mai O Mai” has come to mean in this city. Your support, your smiles, and even the drunk as****es that have bi***ed me out, I am genuinely grateful to have served you.
It’s time for me to start the next phase of my career, but I’ll always look back on this time with a full heart. I’ll always be thankful for all the laughs, the late nights, and all the love you gave us.
Thank you to all my friends, my family, Lia, and I never would have succeeded without you.
Keep an eye out for my next project. Our last day of service will be July 31st. Come see us and thank you all.
