Last week was the two year anniversary of Reunion Coffee, which is crazy even just to type.

What started off as a cute little idea from my wife and I’s wedding has turned into something much bigger. Over the past two years our team has had the opportunity to be a part of 370+ events (260 in the last year🤯), serve 56,000 guests, and created some of the best memories that’ll last forever.

I feel like we are still just warming up and can’t wait to see what our team accomplishes the rest of this year. Without them, my wife, and our newest addition, none of this would be possible.

Last week some of our team took a trip to Sioux City, IA to spend time with our coffee partner, Council Oak Supply. We spent a day and a half learning more about sourcing, roasting, brewing, and equipment care. This is the part nobody sees at the events, but it’s why the coffee tastes the way it does!

Branded pens and koozies are everywhere in the expo hall. Good coffee isn’t. We partnered with Duetto to move the coffee shop line right to their booth — people stopped for the espresso, and their team picked it up from there.

Exhibit booths don’t get traffic by accident, they get it by giving people a reason to stop. We partnered with Adyen at their booth during HITEC in San Antonio, and coffee was that reason: people stopped for the espresso, and stayed for the conversations with their team!

We’re opening a brick and mortar! Here’s what that means — and what it doesn’t.

This coming Monday, June 1st, we are stepping into 108 Villita in downtown San Antonio. It’s a beautiful space steps from the River Walk, and it’s been a coffee home in downtown for the past 4 years.

Events are still what we do and love. That’s not changing. But the shop gives us a place to refine our craft, meet new people, and stay connected to the clients and community that have been supported us from the start.

To the team: we’re grateful you trusted us to continue serving out of the space you’ve built and for new friends. We’ll do right by what you started!
