Holiday season calls for something bright and something deeply comforting.

We just dropped two new dishes on the Madcap menu, and they couldn’t be more perfect for this time of year.

Uni Panna Cotta
Chef Ron’s signature. Light, vibrant, and silky. Topped with Lobster, citrus lace and an airy rice cracker for that perfect hit of texture and crunch. A dish that feels like winter sunshine.

Sonoma Duck
Deep, earthy, and warm. Served with a luscious chanterelle mushroom purée, sautéed chanterelles, rare and beautifully tender salsify, and finished with a bright huckleberry sauce to lift every bite.

Summer is beginning to fade, but its flavors are still at their peak. On our menu right now, trout is the star. It captures the season in three expressions of tomato: slow-cooked into a rich compote, gently dehydrated for depth, and freshly cut for brightness. Roasted Jimmy Nardello peppers bring sweetness, while a buttery cranberry bean purée keeps everything light yet indulgent.

And tucked quietly onto the menu is a little surprise: our tuna garden, a playful ode to late-summer abundance.

Celebrating 8 years of Madcap and the incredible journey we've had. A big thank you to our amazing team and loyal guests for being a part of it all.

Today we also celebrate Chef Ron Siegel who is always two steps ahead, leading with boundless energy, a curious mind and passion that's contagious. His commitment to excellence is an inspiration for all of us.
