Taco Jane’s is located in the historic downtown area of San Anselmo, California. The cuisine is regional authentic Mexican featuring Cochanita Pobil tacos from the Yucatan, Mole from Oaxaca, Hatch green chile from New Mexico and the best fish tacos from anywhere. This Sunday! In Imagination Park in San Anselmo we will be celebrating the 8th annual Community Dia de Los Mu***os celebration at 3pm!

🌼 We will have authentic Aztec dancers honoring all of the people, friends and family before us that made this all possible. And after a short performance in the park, there will be a procession to the community Ofrenda / altar located on the patio of Taco Jane’s where there will be a beautiful performance welcoming all the spirits that traveled from far away for this beautiful day to be with us!

🌼 We will also be giving away FREE Day Of The Dead tamales to the first 100 people...please come early.

🌼 Taco Jane's started this beautiful event in 2017 with hope of building community through family culture, in its 8th year it has grown so much in so many ways! The goal is to make it an official event for our town. And in case you didn't know, the town Ofrenda is located in front of Taco Janes, it is a place for people to gather and bring pictures of people who are no longer with us and acknowledge and celebrate them on the altar every year at this special time of the year! We also have extra picture frames for those who may need them.

Don’t panic — it’s just for Halloween!
That’s right — this Halloween we’re trading in our award-winning margaritas for traditional Mexican candies while they last!!🍬✨
It's spooky, it’s sweet, and it’s all happening at the Baja Candy Bar this Friday for San Anselmo's Goblins Bootacular! ☠️ In our 28th year we are so proud to be apart of this great and supportive community! This Friday the Baja Bar will bring the love & become the Baja Candy Bar with a Halloween Baja vibe! We will be located in front of . "Come early stay late!" Where everyday is a vacation...

🌼Join us as we return to celebrate the 8th Annual community Día De Los Mu***os celebration in San Anselmo, California. Sponsored by Taco Jane’s and supported by the San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce.

🕯️ Starting Sunday October 19th, through Sunday November the 2nd Dia de Los Mu***os, we will have the community ofrenda (altar) on the Taco Jane's front patio, where we strongly encourage our community to participate by placing photos, favorite foods, drinks, fragrances, flowers, or anything that your loved ones loved or anything that reminds you of them. And we also feel the same about pets.
*In addition we will have extra picture frames for those that may need them.

💀Sunday November the 2nd: Join us at Imagination Park at 3:00pm And experience a moving performance by traditional Aztec dancers, honoring and welcoming the spirits to Imagination park.

🌼After the brief performance, follow the Aztec Dancers from Imagination Park, with a short procession down San Anselmo Avenue to Taco Jane's, where we'll continue the 2nd part of the celebration with a ceremony honoring all the spirits on the altar who have made the long journey back to join us for this special night.
