Nine years ago today, we opened the doors of Sake 107.
First of all, thank you to our amazing staff, wonderful guests, supportive Petaluma community, our landlord, neighboring businesses, and fellow local restaurant owners.
Because of all of you, we have been able to stay in business for 9 years.
On June 20, 2017, the day after my son's birthday, we opened the doors of Sake 107.
Just a few months later, a major wildfire hit our area. The town became almost empty, and I started wondering if our restaurant would even have a chance to succeed.
But thanks to our landlord and the support of our community, we made it through.
Then, just as things were getting better, the pandemic arrived.
Thanks to the creativity, hard work, and teamwork of our amazing staff, we quickly switched to takeout service and continued operating without closing our doors.
I would also like to thank Hiro-san and Hiroko-san, my business partners who opened Sake 107 together with me and shared the journey from 2017 to 2022. I can never thank them enough.
To the staff who have been with us since opening day, those who have been with us for many years, and those who joined us more recently:

As we move forward, I will continue doing my best not only to provide great food and hospitality, but also to build a company that supports the well-being and happiness of our employees.
