My first paid cake order🥹
First, to the customer, an old friend!🥰I just want to thank her for trusting me and letting me do this cake for her special day! She trusted me and totally understood it was not going to perfect. Grateful for amazing people like herself🥰.

Now, this is no where near perfect!! I hesitated on even posting, I offered the customer a refund (which she 100% declined and insisted it looks amazing🥹), but looking now, I sure am proud of it.

Doing this cake brought me back to when I first started doing treats about three years ago. The trenches if you will🤣. I would work on ONE order for hours. I mean days, truly!!! I would cry, go through so many ingredients and just literally breakdown. It was a process and took a lot of time, tears and energy, but I never gave up. Now, almost every weekend I am completely booked up for party packages. That’s why when I say I really have put so much into this and so much dedication, I mean it. Truly, it’s so much deeper than just a hobby. I just know if I put that same energy and all into perfecting cakes, I will get to where I want to be in no time.

More practice and more patience and I’ll be there in no time🤌🏻🤩.

🚨 LONG POST ALERT 😂 BUT PLEASE READ! 🚨

Hi guys!! 💕 posting this because I have a lot of new followers and new customers here!
So far, everyone has been great, and I’ve been able to work with some AMAZING people who communicate so well with me! I truly appreciate that more than you know. 🫶🏽
BUTTTT I do want to add a new pickup policy starting today!
Going forward, we will decide on your pickup date and time together based on your schedule AND mine. I know everyone has work, kids, appointments, plans, etc., so I’m not going to randomly give you a time that you have to make work. We’ll communicate and find a pickup time that works for both of us. 💕
Your order may be picked up the day before or the day of your event, depending on what we decide together. Anything I make will be perfectly fine when stored properly, and I’ll provide care cards with storage instructions so you know exactly how to keep everything fresh and ready for your event!
Once we agree on a pickup time, I just ask that you please stick to that time or communicate with me if something comes up. 🫶🏽
I completely understand that life happens. Kids get sick, work runs late, traffic happens, plans change, I GET IT! 😂 Believe me, I’m the person who always has the craziest “sorry I’m late stories.. “. Just please let me know.
What I want to avoid is agreeing on a pickup time and then not hearing anything from you until several hours later.
For example, if we agree that you’ll pick up at 5 PM because that works for both of us, I’m planning my evening around that. I may have dinner plans, plans with my daughter, family plans, or simply be ready to wrap up for the day.
If you know you’re going to be late, just communicate with me! 💗 If you’re going to be a little late, we can usually work something out. If several hours have passed with no communication, your order may have to wait until I’m available again, and a small late pickup fee may apply.
I’m not trying to make pickup difficult or put unnecessary rules on anyone. I just want to be able to respect your schedule while also having mine respected. 🥹💕
My time with my daughter and my family is important to me too.

There will now be a section on every invoice where you
will acknowledge this pickup policy when booking.
Again, COMMUNICATION IS KEY! 🫶🏽 If something comes up, just talk to me. I’m always going to do my best to work with you when you communicate with me.
