Looks like our signs are getting covered up 🥳 We will keep yall updated as we’ve been trying to find a new building we love & to call home! Just to clarify the owners of the building were always super good to us for all of our 13 years. During Covid they gave us 3 months free just because they knew we were going through hard times. We understand everyone is going through hardship right now. We will forever appreciate them and especially Vance Palmer may he rest in peace 🫶

We’ve had a lot of messages come in asking when we’re going to open again because they see remodeling happening to the building so here’s what’s going on… WE NO LONGER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT BUILDING. A man named Dusty Thompson bought our equipment and is remodeling everything out of his own pocket since the owners of the building said they couldn’t help with it. They were just going to tear the building down. Dusty Thompson is someone we thought we could trust but that’s a lesson learned he stole from us and is now trying to keep our name up on the building just so he can keep our same customers. He’s been telling our customers we’re just closed for remodeling. I’ve been trying to communicate with him so we could resolve this but no response. We already had lost everything and at our lowest, this person didn’t care and pushed us down lower. Mendez Cafe will never be the same without us whether this person wants to try to do everything like us it just won’t happen. We poured our heart into this for 13 years 💔 MENDEZ CAFE WILL BE BACK! We have to start from the bottom again but we’ll be back! 🫶
