As we get closer to celebrating 10 years of Jalapeños Locos this coming March, we’ve been reflecting on how far we’ve come and the people who have helped make it all possible.
Today, we want to take a moment to appreciate one of the people who has given so much to Jalapeños Locos. The heart of this place.
For the first 8 years, you could almost always find him in the kitchen. Long hours, busy days, late nights, early mornings, whatever needed to be done, he was there. A lot of the work that goes into a restaurant happens behind the scenes, and so much of his hard work has been done where customers don’t always get to see it.
Over the years, he hasn’t just helped build a restaurant. He has built relationships, taught those around him, and created a place that so many of us have been proud to be a part of.
To our boss: thank you for everything you’ve taught us, for the trust you’ve given us, and for always being willing to lend a hand when we needed it. Your hard work has helped make Jalapeños Locos what it is today, and your staff truly appreciates everything you have done for this place.
Dad, thank you for teaching me so much over the years and for trusting me to learn and grow alongside you in the business. So much of what I know about hard work, taking care of people, and never giving up comes from watching you.
We’ve watched you spend years giving your time and energy to this restaurant. Now, you deserve the chance to step back a little and enjoy the things you’ve worked so hard for.
