TODAY’S ITINERARY MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE, AND WE’RE HERE FOR IT. Because apparently West Texas looked at a normal event schedule and said, “Nah, let’s make it WEIRD.”

Sunset Slush of San Angelo will be at Concho Valley Dragway watching things go FAST all day, Then we’re switching gears (literally) and heading across the track at Blackbuck Amphitheater to watch people fight over piano keys for a DUELING PIANOS CONCERT

Because why choose between horsepower and honky-tonk-adjacent piano shenanigans when you can have BOTH? 🏎️💨 DRAG RACES ALL DAY. 🎹 DUELING PIANOS TONIGHT.

We’ll bring the Italian ice. Y’all bring your hearing protection AND your song requests.

Come get something cold while this whole day makes absolutely no sense but will be fun and memorable!

Calling all former and current band geeks!
Sunset Slush of San Angelo is set up at the Central High School Mighty Bobcat Band Concho Classic Marching Festival ALL DAY today, and being surrounded by all these bands has me feeling a little nostalgic.

So let’s settle an important question…

What instrument did YOU play?
I’ll go first… I played flute.

Now it’s your turn! Drop your instrument in the comments. And be honest… were you the kid who always had their instrument ready to go, or the one who somehow “forgot” it on competition day?

Come see us today, grab an Italian Ice, and cheer on these awesome bands!

Once a band kid, always a band kid.

Okay CHS… we know you’re bringing the school spirit tonight. 🧡💙
We’re bringing the Italian ice.

We’ll be outside San Angelo Stadium for the Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally this evening, and with this Texas heat doing THE MOST… we figured something ice cold was probably a pretty good idea.

Come see us, grab your favorite flavor, and let’s make Homecoming even sweeter!

Parade + Pep Rally + Italian Ice = sounds like a pretty good Thursday to us.
