After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close our Downtown Mad Messy trailer location.
This wasn't an easy choice, but a combination of rising operating costs, significant increases in food truck permit expenses, increased rent, decreased drive up traffic due to the closure of Eskimo Hut and changes in the surrounding business environment have made it increasingly difficult to justify keeping the location open full-time.
The good news is that Mad Messy isn't going anywhere.
As we continue to grow, we've decided to focus our efforts on strengthening and improving our Sunset Mall location, where we can provide the experience, atmosphere, and service that we envision for the future of our brand. Over the coming months, we'll be refining our menu, simplifying operations, reducing costs, and investing in an even better customer experience.
Our trailer will still be hitting the road for special events, festivals, catering opportunities, and select weekend appearances, so you'll definitely still see us around town.
Most importantly, you can continue to get all your Mad Messy favorites at our Sunset Mall location or by ordering online for pickup and delivery.
We want to sincerely thank every customer who supported us downtown over the years. Your loyalty, encouragement, and appetite for messy food helped us grow from a food truck into a brick-and-mortar restaurant. We couldn't have done it without you.
This isn't goodbye—it's simply the next chapter for Mad Messy.
