Good Friday afternoon everyone. I hope you’ve had a good day. Just wanted to remind you all that Mama Lain’s Café in Samson, AL will be open Saturday, July 4 from 7 AM until 1:30 PM. Come by and have some nutritious food before your Fourth of July celebrations.

Good morning all. May this day be glorious to you all.  If you’re out in the heat, please stay hydrated. If you get hungry join us at Mama Lain’s Café for a cold beverage or a nutritious meal or both. The atmosphere is pleasing and it’s cool inside.

𝘿𝙪𝙘𝙠 has been with us since she was just a puppy, and somehow, she keeps getting overlooked. Watching her grow up in the shelter instead of a home has been heartbreaking.

At the shelter, Duck is very shy meeting people she doesn't know. The noise, the kennels, the constant activity, it’s overwhelming for a sensitive girl like her. She tends to hang back, quietly hoping someone will notice her gentle soul.

But here’s the part that gives us so much hope! On a recent doggy day out with our amazing dog walkers, away from the shelter environment, Duck blossomed. In a home setting, she was happy. Outgoing. Curious. She relaxed. She showed her personality. She wagged. She connected. 🐾

Duck doesn’t need perfection.
She doesn’t need flashy.
She needs patience.

She needs someone willing to give her time to feel safe, to build trust, and to let her confidence grow. And when it does? She is going to be the most loyal, loving companion.
If you believe the shy ones deserve a chance, if you understand that the best relationships take time, Duck is waiting for you....

Hello everyone. I hope you all have had a wonderfully productive and enjoyable Tuesday.
We, here at Mama Lain’s Cafe, want to give a shout out to all of our customers on Saturday for being so graciously patient.
Due to unexpected events, we were slower than usual getting everyone served. We are very sorry. You, Your patronage and patience are valued and appreciated.

Also, a shout out to all “call in” customers on Monday morning. Seems the cafe phone was having issues. We are so sorry that we did not get your call. The issue with the phone has been resolved. To our call in/take out customers, you too are valued and appreciated.

We look forward to seeing you the next time you are looking for a good breakfast / brunch / lunch.

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to invite you out on this rainy rainy day, to enjoy a warm breakfast, brunch or lunch. We serve breakfast until closing along with other menu items.
Yes, the weather is messy and wet, but much needed. Here at Mama Lain’s it is pleasant and dry. We hope to see you for some warm, nourishing food and hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good morning everyone. I hope you’re having a wonderful day. At Mama Lain’s today we have fresh pulled pork plates or sandwiches. The sides will be baked beans, corn on the cob or sweet potatoes  along with regular menu items. Come enjoy a very tasty breakfast, lunch/brunch.
