We are sad to share that 2-4-6-8 will be closing its doors at the end of June. While a tough moment for us personally, we are so proud to have had a chance to serve this area over the last two years.
As some of you know, we are a locally owned restaurant. We started 2-4-6-8 because we thought our community could use a place where teams could easily come together over a meal. We imagined and ultimately hosted “teams” of all shapes and sizes. Countless youth sports teams celebrating the end of a season. Coaches watching game film. Local service groups. Birthday parties. Game nights. PTA leaders. Local boards. Dads night out. Moms night out. Watch parties. Trivia compatriots. And most importantly, families. It’s hard to find time in the middle of hectic schedules for families to come together. Our hope was that providing an affordable, reliably good meal – along with some 25-cent video games – would make it a little easier for families to sit down with one another. Seeing all these experiences and moments take place at 2-4-6-8 will be forever memories for us.
For those of you that came in regularly, we know who you are and give you our sincerest thanks for not just supporting us at the restaurant, but for your good words in the community. We so appreciate our 4.5 star rating on Google and the comments you took the time to share (even the tough feedback that made us better). And to all the kids that regularly and excitedly tell us how they enjoyed coming, thank you.
And finally, to our incredible staff. We couldn’t have imagined a better crew of people. For those that visited, your experience was made better by our amazing leaders, Kyle and Sophia, and the entire team they not only attracted but retained at an unprecedented industry rate because it was simply a great place to work. We will be most sad to lose their day-to-day sincerity, passion and ingenuity.
If you’ve visited us before and enjoyed your experience, we’d love to see you one more time before we say goodbye. Please let our staff know if they’ve created an experience you’ve loved.
And please play a final game or two. The Galaga high score has stood for far too long.
With great appreciation.
