💕 A LITTLE I GOT YOU DELIVERY UPDATE! 💕

As I Got You Delivery Services continues to grow, I’ve been working on a few little changes to help keep things running as smoothly as possible — not only for me and my customers, but also for the amazing local food and coffee businesses we pick up from. ❤️

With some of our busier days, larger delivery orders can create a bottleneck for both the truck and their walk-up customers, which can then cause longer wait times for my other delivery orders as well.

So, moving forward:

🍴☕️ DELIVERY ORDERS WILL BE LIMITED TO 4 PLATES OR DRINKS PER DELIVERY.

If you have a larger order for your family, workplace, school, etc., just reach out to me and we can see what we can work out! 😊

⏰ ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY 7PM THE NIGHT BEFORE.

This will allow me to get everything organized ahead of time and give the food or coffee truck a heads-up on the delivery orders coming their way. Hopefully, this will help everyone stay a little more prepared and keep things moving!

My goal is to make sure you get your order as quickly and smoothly as possible, while also making sure the businesses we work with can continue serving their regular customers without a huge backup.

💗 ONE IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT AVAILABILITY:

While placing your order with I Got You the night before helps me get everything organized, I cannot guarantee that a food or drink will still be available when I arrive.

Food trucks and coffee trucks can get extremely busy, and sometimes they may sell out of an item, run out of an ingredient, have an unexpected delay, or simply have something come up that is completely outside of my control.

I will ALWAYS do my best to communicate with you if there is an issue with your order or if I’m notified that something is unavailable. ❤️

I just want to be transparent that placing your order with I Got You ahead of time helps me plan and prepare, but availability can sometimes change. I’ll always do my best to get your order and will keep you updated if anything changes. ❤️

I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we continue to grow! 🥰

Saluda Body Shop got her all fixed up, and she’s riding soooo smoothly! 🚙

Tomorrow morning (Wednesday), I’ve got a chiropractor appointment in Greenwood, then we’ll back in town ready to deliver to you or run your errands!

🚨🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM BIG BETTY 🚨🚨

First of all, let me begin by saying:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANGIE. 🎂🎉

Secondly…

I WOULD LIKE TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT.

This woman is 46 YEARS OLD. 😳

FORTY. SIX.

I have been hauling this woman around all weekend like we’re on some kind of geriatric birthday tour. 😂

Yesterday, thankfully, there were NO deliveries. Hallelujah. 🙌🏼

We went to watch a barrel race, got some food, picked up a few groceries for ourselves, and came home.

I thought, “Finally. A nice relaxing day. Maybe I can rest.”

HAHAHAHAHAHA. 🤡

Because apparently today she decided that since it’s her birthday, I should chauffeur her around some more.

MA’AM.

I have tires.

I have fluids.

I have mechanical needs.

I have a SOUL.

And after the amount of work I’ve done lately, I deserve a damn spa day. 😂

Let’s review my weekend:

Do I need to start looking for restaurants with senior discounts?

Should I be checking whether AARP has a roadside assistance program?

And don’t even get me started on the way she gets in here every morning talking about, “Come on, Big Betty, we’ve got places to go.”

So on behalf of myself, my tires, my transmission, my brakes, and every single mile on my odometer:

Good morning, Saluda!! ☀️

Angie here! I’ve officially taken the page back from Big Betty… AGAIN. 🙄😂 I don’t care how many times I change the password or hide the phone, that girl just keeps finding her way back in and hacking the page!

And please excuse her dramatic “poor pitiful me” performance from yesterday. 🙄 A little routine maintenance and suddenly she thinks she’s falling apart and headed for the junkyard. Dramatic much?! 🤣

But anyways… we are BACK UP AND RUNNING today! 🛻💨

I did enjoy the unexpected downtime yesterday, sometimes we all need a little break. Life gets busy, and it’s so easy to fall into that constant go, go, go routine. But every now and then, we need to remind ourselves that it’s okay to slow down, take a breath, and let something sit on the to-do list until tomorrow.

So consider this your little reminder: You don’t have to do it all! 💛

That’s where Big Betty and I come in! Whether you need food picked up, groceries delivered, an errand run, or just one less thing on your plate, we’re happy to help make your day a little easier!

After my pet care appointment this morning, I had a delivery from Hope Springs Cafe. Their September specials have officially dropped, and naturally, I just HAD to try the Campfire Crumble. 🤤🔥 Y’all… SOOOOO yummy!!

🚨 BIG BETTY HAS AN ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Friends, customers, and fellow citizens of Saluda County…

I regret to inform you that I went to the doctor today and apparently I am falling apart. 😭

What was supposed to be a simple alignment/rotation/balance situation somehow turned into a wheel bearing, alignment, balance, and rotation.

AND THEN… because apparently I enjoy financial violence… they informed Angie that my driver’s-side motor mount also needs replacing. 😩

Thankfully, the doctor said that part can wait a little while because Angie has informed me that she is currently not accepting any additional automotive bills.

At this time, I am accepting prayers, positive thoughts, spare change found in couch cushions, winning lottery tickets, and possibly one gently used kidney to help keep me rolling and delivering all the things to all the people. 🤣

Well, Big Betty may have said no coffee this morning, but she’s not self driving! So, we’ve got a Lavender Dream helping getting us moving this morning!

A pet care appointment is completed, and we’re at the shop now to get her rolling more smoothly! And then I’m headed home to work on some schoolwork and take the day to relax a little. I definitely need it after some crazy dreams! Tornadoes, kittens pooping on me…I may have to get a nap later lol!!
