Smoked, chilled and thinly sliced beef tenderloin served over a bed of mixed greens, new potatoes, tomato, green beans and corn tossed in a cilantro sherry vinaigrette.

Satay Chicken Pasta Salad
Bowtie pasta, grilled chicken, red peppers, cucumber, and cilantro tossed with a satay peanut dressing and topped with crushed peanuts. Served chilled.

Tuna Salad Sandwich
Tuna salad made with tuna, capers, and red onion on wheat toast. Topped with arugula, tomato and onion. Add cheese if it sounds good. Your choice of sides.

Offset's latest IPA has just arrived. I haven't had a chance yet to taste it but they have never disappointed me in the past.

Here is what Offset says:
"Newest batch of Fast Hand is here and it's stellar. This is the best West Coast IPA we've made to date by a wide margin. We've been fortunate to pour our beers alongside some of the best breweries in the world this year and this beer is the culmination of knowledge gained from picking the brains of the best brewers of this style. Clear, crisp, and incredibly aromatic and hop saturated. Modern West Coast IPA at it's finest. "

It's International Beer Day today!!!

The Bayou was born for this day with over 490 beers from 21 different countries!

International Beer Day has three declared purposes:

To gather with friends and enjoy the taste of beer.
To celebrate those responsible for brewing and serving beer.
To unite the world under the banner of beer, by celebrating the beers of all nations together on a single day.

In the international spirit of the holiday, it is suggested that participants step out of their domestic/locally brewed comfort zone and sample a beer from another culture.

Fried egg rolls with tuna, nori, cilantro, scallions and cabbage. Served with wasabi, soy sauce and pickled ginger.

Ball Park Pizza
Start with our grilled pizza bread. Top it with Swiss cheese, kielbasa sausage, and sauerkraut. Add a squeeze of mustard and it tastes like a ball park dog.

Grilled Chicken Sandwich
Grilled chicken breast topped with swiss cheese and roasted tomato puree. Served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, red onion and herb mayonnaise. Your choice of sides.
