We’re holding onto grilling season for as long as possible!🦐

Chef Christian Ojeda recently joined KUTVs Kari Hawker-Diaz to share one of our favorite recipes, a simple yet flavor-packed combination of grilled shrimp, andouille sausage, garlic, lemon, and smoked paprika.

While we were talking all things grilling, we couldn’t help but share a little preview of what’s coming next. Thanksgiving To-Go from Laurel at The Grand America Hotel will soon be here, bringing chef-prepared holiday favorites to your table so you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time with your loved ones.

Laurel Brasserie & Bar marks Bastille Day with a three-course menu inspired by the country that started it all. Enjoy Summer Squash and Avocado Tartines, Red Wine-Braised Beef Bourguignon, and a Classic French Napoleon for dessert, paired with cocktails such as the Cognac Sour and St. Germain Spritz. The celebration runs July 10 through July 14, with the full menu priced at $45 per person.

We’re still riding the high from Derby Day! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. We are beyond proud to share that together, we raised over $10,000 for the Utah Food Bank, providing roughly 30,000 meals to our neighbors in need.

A special thank you to Deena Manzanares for hosting again and bringing such incredible energy to the afternoon! From photo ops with our guest of honor, Whip the pony, to sipping Kentucky Mules and Mint Juleps on the terrace, thank you for making this event one to remember. We’re still thinking about those Chicken & Waffle skewers and the Shrimp & Grits. 🥂
