CLOSED ...... entries are closed as of 6am Friday, August 14. Picture of cake and drawing winner will be announced at 10am. As there was no guess made matching the exact theme/cake, we will be doing a general drawing for 1 dz Buckeyes!

Alrighty folks! I am on a roll today. Earlier I mentioned a very special birthday cake being made this week. Said cake will use all four of these 8 inch rounds.

How about we make this a GIVEAWAY?! What do you think is the theme of this special cake? Comment your guess as a bet of sorts. I will unveil the cake and winner Friday morning at 10 am.

Should anyone guess the exact theme, umm, I will give them 2 dz of our 1 tbsp size Buckeyes. Should nobody guess the exact theme, I will do a random draw of all the guesses and the winner will get 1 dz of our Buckeyes. Can't wait to hear all of your ideas. Also feel free to share!

** Winner will be able to pick Milk or Semi Sweet chocolate.

Thinking of a "Sponsor a Teacher" or "Sponsor the Staff" idea. Once a month individual or group items are delivered to those sponsored. Hmmmm, anyone have thoughts?

Well, we made it to Wednesday. Time to get to work. This week we are working on a new product. Will be sent out to taste testers tomorrow. A very special birthday cake design gets underway. And we guess coming up with a menu for this weekend's market should be a priority today.

The weekend of September 11, 12, and 13 is CLOSED to special orders. With a wedding, banquet, birthdays, and add on concessions to prepare for ... Eddie is maxed on special orders for this weekend. Our porch market will still be open Sept 12 and 13.

Good afternoon folks! Here is our tentative porch market schedule for August and September. Weather can absolutely change this schedule. The following are Saturday and Sunday dates......

August 8 - 9 = No market. Due to predicted humidity and the fair.

August 14 - 15 = Yes!
---- Sunday, August 15 will be Cinna Sunday. We plan to have Gluten Friendly cinnamon rolls available.

August 22 - 23 = No Market

---- While Eddie's is technically CLOSED this weekend, our items will be available on Friday, August 21 at the Southern Local Football season opener. Please feel free to visit them to purchase your goodies. Remember, the Touchdown Club keeps 💯 of what they sell all season long.

AND NEW THIS YEAR .... our items will be available at the Southern Local Little Indians home games. That is right! If you would like to grab Eddie's goodies on Saturday, August 22, head on up to the Little Indians home game. Remember, the Little Indians organization keeps 💯 of what they sell at all of their home games.

**** Please support ALL concession stands at all games. Home and Away. Those organizations running them are just trying to make money to support children.

August 29 - 30 = Yes!
-- Saturday, August 29 will be our first Gluten Friendly market. All items will be prepared with gluten friendly ingredients, their own mixer, baked on dedicated pans, and packaged separately. However, we are not a gluten free kitchen.
-- Sunday, August 30 Cinna Sunday!

September 5 - 6 = Yes!

September 12 - 13 = Yes!

September 19 - 20 = tentatively NO. This will be updated once I have finalized information.

September 26 - 27 = Yes

Happy Sunday! Inventory week. We know nobody is interested in inventory. Orders are being placed for all kinds of packaging, labels, wax papers, baking supplies, and anything else you can think of.

We will be posting our loose PORCH MARKET schedule for the coming months. Cinna Sundays are coming back. Also, we will be noting the Gluten Friendly days.

And while it seems waayyy off .... umm .... the holidays. I am working on our holiday menus already. Yes, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Be on the lookout for those.

Due to special orders, concession stands, and our market the next several months are busy. If you are thinking of reaching out for any item, please do so. Do not wait. It is never too early to place an order. Already have a few dates booked for summer 2027. And will be announcing a couple fall dates that are fully booked this week. Cannot express to not wait enough.

Welp, inundated you all enough information for right now. Off to spend money on supplies.

Good Morning! As I am up dipping a large special order this morning, we will talk Buckeyes. Our buckeyes are always available by special order. We will likely have the filling on hand at all times from now until Christmas.

Over the past couple years, I have been asked about our ingredient ratios, brands used, etc. First, you will not find our recipe on the internet. It is hand written on an old dingy piece of paper. It also does not include all of the ratios used. I had to figure those out myself. Gotta love old school.

I do use specific brands when making them. Butter and powdered sugar. Especially peanut butter! Most folks think they know what brand of PB is used in our products. Can say 99% have no idea. All should know by now that all of our chocolate coated items are made with Merkens. I have tried to keep the price of them the same over the years. Chocolate prices are making it hard.

They can come as a traditional Buckeye, a PB Ball (fully dipped), or our scrolled heart version. We do have a few orders placed and will be working on other shapes as well. Will announce those at a later time if they work out.

Buckeyes currently come in Milk Chocolate and Semi Sweet. We do offer White chocolate and can do specialty colors as well. Those options are just not as popular as Milk and Semi Sweet.

Traditional and PB Balls are $12.00 a dozen. Scrolled Heart versions are $18.00 a dozen. We typically stick with our standard 1 tbsp size. We have made smaller upon request. Your order can be individually wrapped or bulk packaged based on your events needs.

Please note that larger orders .. weddings, banquets, etc .. the earlier the better. Should you want to place a special order or have any questions, please let us know.
