Our community is devastated.

The tragedy at Stryker Soccer Complex hits to close to home and leaves us lying awake, struggling to make sense of it all. The pain, grief, and unanswered questions are overwhelming.

May we support one another, check in on one another, and lean on each other through this unimaginable time. Our hearts and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy. ❤️🙏

Black dogs are consistently passed over for adoption at higher rates than dogs of other colors, a phenomenon so well documented that shelter workers and researchers have given it a name: black dog syndrome.
