We're doing a riff on a panzanella salad for our latest special. We got sourdough, red onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes all marinated in an Italina vinaigrette, all atop mixed greens. We serve it with a side of balsamic dressing in case you want to amp things up a bit. This is a favorite type of salad for us during the summer.

Thank you to Salem and the surrounding communities for showing up to help raise money for Reilly Somach We ran through all the fundraising beer from East Regiment Beer Company But Wandering Soul Beer is going to let is run through their keg of Dream Within A Dream New England IPA as an extra fundraising beer. 100% of all sales from that beer at Gulu go to Reilly’s cancer fund. And thank you to Clay Pigeons for donating your booking free and tips. I still need to run the math, but with Gulu donating all of its profits for the event, and all the funds from the beer sales, we are going to have a great donation! Thank you everyone!!

East Regiment Beer Co, Clay Pigeons, and Gulu-Gulu Cafe & Bar are coming together to host a last minute fundraiser in support of Reilly Somach's cancer fund.

Join us at Gulu-Gulu Friday Night (July 10) for an evening of great beer, live music from Clay Pigeons, and a chance for our community to rally around one of our own. NO COVER, starts at 8PM.

Here's how your visit will make a difference:

**100% of every East Regiment beer sold will be donated directly to Reilly's fund. Not just the profits. Every dollar you spend on East Regiment beer goes to Reilly.
**Clay Pigeons is donating their entire booking fee.
**Gulu-Gulu Cafe & Bar will donate all profits from the event.

Time to make a difference. Our friend and fellow Salem community member, Ian McCelestine, is currently on dialysis while searching for a kidney donor. To help support him during this difficult time, we're hosting Over The Rainbow's Sock Hop fundraiser on Sunday, July 26 from 6pm to 10pm. With DJs Maxine Harrison and Jimi Carter.

Tickets are $25, and 100% of every ticket sold goes directly to Ian's support fund. We aren't keeping any of the ticket revenue, and we'll also be donating all profits from sales during the event to Ian.

If you're looking for a fun night out with great music, dancing, and a chance to support a wonderful member of our community, we'd love to see you there.

We're looking for our next **Bar Operations Lead!**

As many of you know, Jake has decided it's time for his next adventure and he will be heading to Colorado. We're sad for us, excited for him, and incredibly grateful for everything he's helped build here at Gulu-Gulu. It's bittersweet, but we have no doubt he's off to do great things. That also means we're looking for someone to help write the next chapter of our bar program.

We're casting a wide net and would love to hear from everyone from experienced bartenders ready to take the next step in their careers, to seasoned hospitality professionals looking for a hands-on leadership role. If you're passionate about craft beer, cocktails, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences, we'd love to know more.
