June the summer of 1969 would change many lives, 10 years before my birth, it would also change mine. That summer the LGBTQ community declared their liberation, the patriarch of my family would also declare his!

This month more than others I meditate on his courage and I am proud! I am proud of the activism that he did in making the US a more welcoming place for people like himself. If he were alive, I know that he would be proud as well of all of you, his community.

During these past years, it has been an honor for Raed and I to serve our Salem community. Thank you for letting us into your lives and trusting us, mostly we want to wish you the happiest of Prides!
