As National Deli Month comes to a close, we can’t help but reflect on what makes our deli and community so special.
The best part of running this page is seeing your comments with stories about how our deli has impacted your lives. They are a reminder that it is the simple things in life that we remember the most. In the moment it may seem like a Reuben doesn’t matter, but yet, here we are.
When Rose Kravitz opened her first store in 1939, she wasn’t setting out to build an institution. She was just like the rest of us - fighting for the privilege of the simple memory. What started as Elm Street Delicatessen grew into a place that achieved just that.
Thank you for supporting Kravitz Deli and being a part of our story.
