Our Sunday cooking of the old Donnie's chicken WITH our new industrial set up went great! What a blast back to the eighties, having the speed and flavor seal in only commercial fryers can do! The leftovers were scrumptious.......... out of our cooler Today on top of it all. Friends and family will eat well. Many guinea pigs will be needed as we create more and more grilled boneless dinners with healthy veggie choices......and all the original stuff too! The Chixfx is as delicious as ever!! Yum Yum.
Watch for some old Donnie's pictures with the original hand made wooden chicken that will once again be atop of a painted red white and blue vega....no just kidding, but the original painted washtub looks great on the roof of the Truck!!!!!!! How many of you Donnie's Chicken Fans are really out there????

Still working on the legalities... The "Donnie's Truck" is up and running, cooking for local friends and family... but we are not yet set up on the business end. We are looking forward to Spring 2013 now, as we expect to be fully able to serve traditional Donnie's fare as well as grilled tenders and veggies!

Hello all of you chicken fans out there! Things are a bit slow coming together for Donnie's Chicken to be available....but we are coming! The city of Salem has been more than gracious to have Donnie's Chicken back after 20 years ! Recipes are being worked around and "Catering" methods to bring to your weddings, graduations, family gatherings, and even back yard cookouts are going to be the first introduction back to the North Shore !
Unlike the 80's, now you will be able to select what you desire for Chicken on the Donnie's Chicken website to be, place the order for the number of pieces you need for your party, and the Mobile Kitchen will arrive to you ready to cook hot and fresh succulent Donnie's Chicken ! We can not put a date on our arrival, however an immediate goal has always been the Topsfield Fair to debut that famous fried chicken many remember well on the North Shore. Those of you out there that are interested in seeing this process speed up......Comment with your suggestions and ideas!!!

Slowly but surely, things are lining up for our mobile "location" for July! If you're thinking of having a party, think Donnies! Birthday (kids... big kids...) ... Graduation... Anniversary... Unbeatable deal if it is a pre- or post- deployment party!! We will welcome your returning soldier, Sailor, Marine, Airman, Coastie home anytime... charging you only what it costs us! We love our military!!! Donnie retired from the U S Navy!
