I was completely blown away by what my sous chef made for me tonight. I honestly don’t even have the words to describe how incredible this dish was. The combination of ingredients had absolutely no business working together this beautifully — yet somehow it became one of the most unforgettable things I’ve ever tasted.

It was chicken cooked with saffron and cinnamon, layered with eggplant, rich tomato sauce, and feta cheese. On paper, it sounds unexpected, maybe even confusing. But the way the flavors came together was pure magic — warm, savory, silky, bright, and deeply comforting all at once.

What was meant to be “just a little something to eat” turned into a dish that genuinely shocked me. Every bite felt surprising in the best possible way. I’m still trying to process how something so humble became something so extraordinary.
