Thank you, foodies, friends and family.
Since our 1st day, January 2nd 2018 The Chill Grill has been hitting the streets and parking lots of the Willamette Valley serving up that hot, fresh and delicious "Good Mood Food" that is made to order each and every time. Using the 3 most important ingredients I know of each and every time to ensure we take our recipes to that next level. Those ingredients would be a whole lot of love, a generous amount of passion and a dash of sarcasm and wallah, you have the recipe for something fun and delicious...
We will always cherish the opportunities given to us to provide food during some of your life's most important moments, like weddings, graduation celebrations, work appreciation events. Not to mention the best 30 to 60 minutes of your workday better known as your lunch break. This has truly been one of our greatest pleasures and joys to be chosen to be part of your celebrations over the years.
We have also been blessed with many opportunities to work alongside some tremendous charities and individuals from our community. We feel the need to take a second to thank all of you who have helped support us with our numerous efforts to fundraise for many organizations in our community. Many of those being youth sports programs that are so near and dear to our hearts being sports parents ourselves and youth coaches over the past 20 years. Teamwork has made the dream work and it is all thanks to each and every one of you for your generous support.
The support you guys have shown us over the years seems to have no limits. One prime example is being voted "Best Of The Willamette Valley" not once, not twice, but three years in a row in the food cart/ truck category. We were honored and elated to be awarded one first place finish, along with two 2nd place finishes all while trying to navigate a global pandemic that hit the food and beverage industry extremely hard so once again from the bottom of our hearts; THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Unfortunately we had no way of knowing that our last day was going to be our last day until it was in our rear-view mirror. Kind of like when you're reading a really good book that has you reeling for more and more, so you turn the page with great anticipation to see what happens next and to your unexpected surprise after turning the page you notice you have reached the end of that chapter.
We'd like to assure you that this is not how our story ends. Not even close. In fact, this is just the beginning to the next chapter. This chapter holds limitless excitement and the possibility to fill many pages in our book with countless stories of passion, love, sarcasm and flavor filled awesomeness just as the last chapter was blessed with. Please don't be upset for us. All things eventually come to an end. Many of those endings allow us new beginnings. We really hope you all stay tuned for the release of this next chapter in the very near future.
