It’s time for another barista spotlight and you already know who it issss! Today we have the lovely Jacquelyn! 🌸💅 If you’ve had the pleasure of being served by Jacquelyn, you know she embodies the heart of Broadway: she’s cheerful, conversational, and makes friends with everyone she meets! 👑 Jacquelyn’s go to drink is currently an iced honey matcha and she’s graced us with her presence at Broadway for over 4 years now! 😍 When she’s not at work, you can find her being a homebody, reading, spending time with her loved ones, getting to bed before 9PM like a grandma 👵, crushing it at the gym, or shopping for her next fashionable outfit 💃. We adore Jacquelyn and we are SO thankful for her on our team! Cheers to her and make sure to say hi in the comments! 🌹

Last Friday, we hosted “Free Pour”, a latte art competition to help raise money for the incredible Marion Polk Food Share! 🫶 Thanks to everyone who generously gave and/or participated, we were able to raise enough to cover close to 1,000 meals! 🙏🏻 We had so much fun with this event and we are so thankful for our community who showed up to have fun for a great cause. It was awesome to see so many other coffee shops there! We’d like to give a huge thank you to Church at the Park for sponsoring the competition AND for sending one of their own to come pour with us! Thank you also to Coava Coffee Roasters for donating the coffee, bringing pitchers, and donating an amazing prize! Shoutout to our wonderful judges Eddie, Kyle, and Erika for volunteering their time and bringing the vibes. And lastly congratulations to our champion, Caleb! 👑 He not only volunteered his time to help pull the espresso, but he also poured his heart out to win it all! 🎉 Overall, we had a blast and appreciate everyone who helped make this event happen ❤️.

You heard it here folks: our latte art competition is TOMORROW 8/21 6PM!!! This friendly and fun competition’s purpose is to raise proceeds for Marion Polk Foodshare and to have fun doing it! 😘 To prove how fun it can be, Sophie, a representative from Marion Polk Food Share came to compete in a silly little throwdown with our manager Ben!
