Hafa Adai, Ran Anim, & Tirow Everyone! , Made this video as a thank you to all of our supporters since day one. Day one meaning before Orionz Island Fusion when I was still slanging Chesa from home under ‘Chesa Boyz’ on Friday&Saturdays while working full time. For those that dont already know, Chesa in the Mariana Islands are kinda like small dishes shared amongst friends and family while socializing, whether at the picnic table sharing a beer, tailgating at the beach, or playing cards like gutz or 3-7. Growing up in San Roque, Saipan at my Grandmas house I remember my uncles, aunts, and older cousins always having paper plates of sashimi, Kelaguen, snacks, or whatever was on the buffet line at their picnic tables during our family gatherings. I miss those days….but it’s a pleasure that my experiences growing up are what I’m sharing with you right here in Salem!
I’m no Chef, all my recipes come from recreating the food I love & experienced, plus those closest to me know that I’m an incredible host! My apologies to everyone because I’m not a social media typa guy, I prefer the authentic picnic table or in person social where we can truly get to know one another. Anyways…. let’s run it back while I make this small spread of Chesa and my THANK YOU! Island style baby! Cheers! 🍻
