October begins the countdown to twenty years of Southern Soul Barbeque. We opened for biz on the Thursday of Halloween/GA-FLA weekend in 2006 at Palm Coast Coffee & Pub in the village with Harrison's Lang 84 cooker, some Wal-Mart pots & pans, a food order from our buddy Scotty V, and a boom box that was stuck on the local metal station all day. Although we were already in our late thirties, at the time we felt pretty young for BBQ dudes. Now we ARE those old-timer BBQ dudes. What a long strange trip it has been.

Y'all follow along all this whole month of October for some special throwback menu items (knuckle sammich, rib sammich, pimento cheese everything). We'll be posting fun old pics, sharing some solid gold memories, and we'll be hosting a few lively hangs in the courtyard.

Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for 20 years y'all. We honestly can't tell you how much you all mean to us. We love you unconditionally ❤️
