Dear Community,
We at HCP have listened to your feelings in regards to the cake posted on July 5th for the LGBTQ+ community that has resulted in several stating they will no longer support my business and several to unfollow me.
That is your right as a person to spend your money where your beliefs align and something I have no control over.
What I have control over is how I treat people.
HCP has supported the LGBTQ+ community for years even in Waynesville doing events no one wanted to touch and because I have family members who are a part of this community and pray that someone shows them kindness.
We at HCP strongly believe in the power to be who you are meant to be and love who you want without prejudices or discrimination.
With that being said, I will not take the post down nor will I apologize for showing love and respect to those who need it .
Yes, I know the Bible and stay focused on "thou shall not judge".
