There are some posts you never think you'll have to write.
After 10 incredible years, I've made one of the hardest decisions of my life.
Thirsty First will officially be closing its doors, with our final day of service on Sunday, July 26.
When I opened Thirsty First, I hoped to build a great sports bar. What I never expected was to build a community and a family.
Over the last decade, I've watched first dates turn into marriages, strangers become lifelong friends, championship celebrations shake the walls, and thousands of people choose to spend some of the best moments of their lives with us. We've celebrated victories, survived difficult times, and made memories that I'll carry with me forever.
To every customer who became a regular, every employee who gave this place their heart, every musician, DJ, entertainer, vendor, and everyone who ever walked through our doors...
Thank you.
Thank you for believing in this little dream. Thank you for your loyalty, your laughter, your patience, your support, and for making Thirsty First so much more than just another bar.
These past 10 years have been some of the greatest years of my life because of all of you.
While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories we've created together never will.
I hope you'll stop by over the next week so I can personally thank as many of you as possible, share a drink, tell a few stories, and celebrate everything we've built together one last time.
From the bottom of my heart...
Thank you for an unforgettable 10 years.
I love this city. I love this community. And I will forever be grateful that I had the privilege of serving you.
See you one last time.
