The Latin Lunch Box was a born out of a desire to share the delicious recipes I've learned from abuela (grandmother), mom, and family. A former pharmaceutical sales representative and a Puertorriquen from New York I've been feeding family and friends at every opportunity. But always striving to serve nothing but the best food. I pride myself in using natural ingredients garlic, onions, cilantro

, cilantro (an herb widely used in Puerto Rico) along with many others. The secret ingredient to fabulous, phenomenal, and delicious food is to cook with lots of LOVE! My goal is for my customers to taste and know the love I put into every dish.

Saturday’s at Lida’s Jungle is always a pleasure!!!! It was HOT this past Saturday and you guys showed up hungry!!!! LOVE IT❤️❤️❤️❤️

Look at the last photo🤣 I hit a fence and the metal shelve became unstable. WELLLL on my way to Lidas Jungle on Saturday I heard metal falling while driving. Nothing new I simply thought some utensils fell.

Well it wasn’t utensils it was the metal shelve 🤪 No worries I’ll get a replacement!!!! May or may not have it before out next good service 😁

LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THIS PILON (Wooden Mortar)

I bought this yeeeeeeears ago in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

I was at a fruit stand that had some vendors . It was local and I meet this woman who was selling fruits. In the back tucked away from eyesight is this beauty!!!!

At first she was hesitant to sell it!! Honestly I can’t even remember why she didn’t want to sell it. I hate to admit to this but I haggled and negotiated until it was mine! The PILON was mean to be seen😁

At the time I lived in NY. I remember when I walked up to security in the airport in San Juan they asked “Where is the Maserati (wooden pestle)?”

I put the pestle in my suit case and had it checked in!!!! There was no way security would have allowed the pestle thru. ITS THE SIZE OF A WOODEN BAT!!!!
