Liquid Pennies:
Liquid Pennies are an indie-psych quartet from St Pete formed in 2018. Having gone through several incarnations and guests preforming with them, the band has acted as a collective for outside-the-box musicians and music-lovers in the Tampa Bay music scene. Pulling from psychedelia, punk, hardcore, post-rock, folk, and funk, the band seeks to find the concise in the abstract and keep listeners on their tapping toes.
Their independently produced 11 song album Any Wonder was released in June of this year and was preceded by March’s D.E. Ep, 2021’s concept album Distant Dawn, and their 2019 debut album Floods.
The band consists of Chas Binns on guitar/vocals, Christian Kovar on drums, Dylan Carney on bass, and Zoë Turtle on violin/vocals.
Emily Turnage:
Emily Turnage is a ‘born & raised’ native of St Petersburg, FL who has enriched the local musical scene for more than ten years. Her original work draws from personal experience and an open appreciation for the intricacies of life. Her vocal range reflects a broad span of expression from clear, smoky, and soothing to unapologetically visceral and cathartic. Equally at home as an acoustic solo act or accompanied by a full band, she continues to delight folks wherever she travels.
